Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Anchor Flare is a suite of Shopify apps built and operated by A2BDAYz ("we", "us"). This policy covers the anchorflare.com website and every Anchor Flare app you install from the Shopify App Store (AnchorHQ, AnchorSEO, and the rest of the Anchor Flare family).

2. What our apps access ~ and what they don’t

When you install an Anchor Flare app, Shopify asks you to approve exactly the access that app needs. Our apps read store data through the official Shopify Admin API: things like products, order totals, and aggregate customer counts, depending on the app.

Our apps are read-focused analytics and optimization tools. They do not read individual customer profiles, names, emails, phone numbers, or addresses unless an app explicitly requests that access at install time and explains why.

We never sell data. We never share your store’s data with third parties for advertising.

3. What we store

As little as possible. Our apps store the OAuth session tokens Shopify issues so the app can load inside your admin, plus app settings you choose. Store metrics shown in dashboards are fetched live from Shopify when you open the app and are not warehoused.

Where an app keeps derived records (for example, an SEO audit score for a product), those records describe your catalog ~ not your customers.

4. GDPR and customer data requests

Every Anchor Flare app implements Shopify’s mandatory privacy webhooks: customers/data_request, customers/redact, and shop/redact.

If one of your customers asks for their data or asks to be forgotten, Shopify notifies our apps automatically and we respond within the required window. Because our apps do not store customer personal information, data requests typically return an empty record and redactions complete immediately.

When you uninstall an app, its session tokens are invalidated, and shop/redact removes any remaining shop data within 30 days.

5. The website

anchorflare.com is a static informational site. It does not run third-party advertising trackers and does not require an account.

Standard web server logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp) may be retained briefly by our hosting provider for security and uptime monitoring.

6. Security

All data moves over encrypted connections (TLS). Access tokens are stored encrypted at rest. Access to production systems is limited to the A2BDAYz operations team.

7. Changes to this policy

If we change what data an app collects, we will update this page and the app’s Shopify listing before the change takes effect. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
