AnchorSEO ~ getting set up
AnchorSEO helps the right shoppers find your products in search by fixing the behind-the-scenes bits Google reads ~ and it shows you where you rank over time. Here is how to get set up, and what to check first.
Adding it to your store
Four plain steps. It takes about a minute, and Shopify handles the approval so you are always in control.
Step 1: Press "Get it free"
On the AnchorSEO page, press the "Get it free" button. It is free ~ there is no card to enter and nothing to pay. A small box opens asking for your store address.

Type your Shopify store address ~ the one that ends in .myshopify.com (for example, your-store.myshopify.com). If you only know your regular store web address, that is fine too ~ we sort it out for you. Then press Install.

A new tab opens on Shopify’s own approve screen ~ the same one you see for any Shopify app. It lists what the app can see, so you always know. Press Install app to say yes. This screen is Shopify’s, not ours, so you are always in control.

Shopify adds AnchorSEO to your store and drops you straight inside it. You will find it any time under Apps in your Shopify admin, on the left. That is it ~ you are set up.

What to look for once it’s open
AnchorSEO opens to a list of your product pages, each with a simple read on how it is doing in search. It points out the pages with missing or weak details, fixes what search engines penalize, and tracks your ranking so you can watch it climb.
Your search health, page by page
Open the list and see which product pages are strong and which are being held back ~ named, not guessed at.
The first easy fix
AnchorSEO points at the pages missing key details. Fix one it flags ~ that is a real step toward showing up higher.
Where you rank
Find the ranking view so you can watch your position over time. Now the work you do is something you can actually see pay off.

How long until I see my ranking move?
Search engines take a little while to catch up ~ usually a few days to a couple of weeks after a fix. AnchorSEO tracks it so you will see the change when it lands. If a page looks stuck, write us.
I installed it but I don’t see it ~ where did it go?
AnchorSEO lives in your Shopify admin under Apps, on the left-hand menu. Open Apps and press AnchorSEO to jump back in any time. If it is not listed there, the install may not have finished ~ try "Get it free" once more, or write us and we will find it with you.
Where do I change its settings?
Open AnchorSEO from Apps in your Shopify admin, and look for Settings inside the app (usually top-right or in the menu along the side). Everything you can adjust lives there. Not sure what a setting does? Write us ~ we will explain it in plain words.
How do I remove AnchorSEO if I change my mind?
In your Shopify admin, open Apps, find AnchorSEO, and press Delete (or Remove). Shopify uninstalls it cleanly and stops its access right away ~ nothing lingers. It is free, so there is nothing to cancel and nothing to pay. You can always add it back later.
Is it really free ~ will I be charged later?
Yes, AnchorSEO is genuinely free ~ no card, no trial that turns into a bill. You approve it on Shopify’s own screen, and there is nothing to cancel. If you ever see a charge you did not expect, write us straight away.
